Description: An online materials exchange serving NYC’s businesses and nonprofits. By matching generators of valuable commercial “waste” and surplus with those
in need of materials,
NYC WasteMatch helps clients reduce disposal or purchasing costs, obtain tax-deductions or revenues, and reduce their environmental impact.
NYC WasteMatch is a program of the NYC Department of Sanitation, Bureau of Waste Prevention, Reuse and Recycling.
Materials accepted: Industrial surplus, building materials, computers and peripherals, office furnishings, and many other reusables and recyclables from the
commercial waste stream.
